1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the ChessDepth platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from utilizing our online chess coaching services, tournament preparation modules, and community features.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Platform Services and Coaching

ChessDepth provides structured digital chess education, including but not limited to, recorded video courses, live coaching sessions, interactive puzzles, and tournament preparation resources. We strive to ensure all strategic advice and course materials reflect the highest standards of chess mastery; however, your personal improvement and tournament results depend entirely on your individual effort and application.

Access to specific master-level courses or private coaching may require a valid subscription or one-time purchase. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any course or feature at our sole discretion.

3. Account Registration and Security

To participate in courses and tournaments, you must register an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Accounts are strictly personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred to third parties.
  • You must notify us immediately upon suspecting any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Intellectual Property

All content provided on the platform—including course videos, annotated chess games, curriculum texts, graphics, logos, and software—is the exclusive property of ChessDepth or our licensed instructors. This content is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the materials for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our curriculum without explicit written consent.

5. Code of Conduct and Fair Play

Chess is a game of honor. When using our platform, participating in online tournaments, or interacting in the newsroom and community spaces, you agree to strictly adhere to principles of fair play.

The use of external chess engines, tablebases, automated bots, or receiving outside assistance during internal platform tournaments or assessments is strictly forbidden. Violation of our fair play policy will result in immediate account termination without a refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

The ChessDepth platform and all associated services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the continuous availability of the platform or the absolute accuracy of specific theoretical chess lines.

In no event shall ChessDepth, its instructors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the platform.
